Email provider
We use MailChimp as a third party email provider to send our newsletter and store our email database when you subscribe to receive email updates. As with all service providers we work with, we only share with MailChimp the information required to provide the service, and they are required to meet our own high standards of security. They are under a contractual obligation in accordance with Article 28 of GDPR. We categorically exclude any further dissemination of this data to third parties.

6. Job applicant privacy notice
As part of any recruitment process, Sensidev collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants. The organisation is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data and to meeting its data protection obligations.
What information do we collect?
Sensidev collects a range of information about you. This includes:
- Your name and contact details, including email address and telephone number;
- Details of your qualifications, skills, experience and employment history;
- Information about your current level of remuneration;
- Whether or not you have a disability for which the organisation needs to make reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process; and
- Information about your entitlement to work in countries where we have offices
Sensidev may collect this information in a variety of ways. For example, data might be contained in application forms, CVs or resumes, obtained from your passport or other identity documents, or collected through interviews or other forms of assessment.
We may also collect personal data about you from third parties, such as references supplied by former employers. We will seek information from third parties only once a job offer to you has been made and will inform you that we are doing so.

Who has access to data?
Your information may be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.
We will not share your data with third parties, unless your application for employment is successful and we make you an offer of employment. We will then share your data with former employers to obtain references for you, employment background check providers to obtain necessary background checks.
How does Sensidev protect data?
We take the security of your data seriously. We have internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by our employees in the proper performance of their duties.
For how long does Sensidev keep data?
If your application for employment is unsuccessful, the organisation will hold your data on file for 6 (six) months after the end of the relevant recruitment process. If you agree to allow us to keep your personal data on file, we will hold your data on file for a further 6 (six) months for consideration for future employment opportunities. At the end of that period, or once you withdraw your consent, your data is deleted or destroyed.
If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your Human Resources file (electronic and paper based) and retained during your employment. The periods for which your data will be held will be provided to you in a new privacy notice.
Your rights
As a data subject, you have a number of rights. You can:
- Access and obtain a copy of your data on request;
- Require the organisation to change incorrect or incomplete data;
- Require the organisation to delete or stop processing your data, for example where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing.

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to Sensidev during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.
7. Newsletter privacy notice
Purpose of data processing / legal basis
On our website we offer you the possibility to register for our newsletter. If you have consented to receive our newsletter, we will use your e-mail address and possibly your name in order to send you information about job offers, technical articles, industry insights as well as for events organized by Sensidev. We will store and process this data for the purpose of sending the newsletter until such time as you request for this to not be the case.
Content of the newsletter
This includes job opportunities (open positions, networking events, competitions) as well as personalized content - technical articles, company updates, industry insights. With your consent we use email tracking technology (pixels) to collect data such as newsletter opens and click-throughs in order to create personalised usage profiles. This information is assigned to your email address in order to ensure the emails you receive are as relevant as possible to your interests. You may revoke your consent at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our newsletter.
The legal basis for data processing within the scope of the distribution of newsletters is your consent.
Double opt-in procedure
To ensure that no errors occur when entering your email address, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure: after you have entered your email address in the log-in field, we will send you a confirmation link.
